The parks have some of the best scenery of all the national parks. Black Canyon (峡谷峡谷) of the Gunnison National P

While exploring the canyons, you will find that the walls drop nearly straight down into the narrow valleys of the snake-like rivers below. Visitors are offered more than 100 camping sites, and a lot of
3、 bird species and many animals are native to the area. Rocky Mountain National Park It is the only national park in the north central region in the State of Colorado. Elevations in this park are anywhere from 8,000 feet to 14,259 feet at the top of Longs Peak. While traveling throughout this park yo
4、u will notice there are two very different climates because of the difference the upper peaks of the Rocky Mountains make. You can enjoy 359 miles of hiking trails, a lot of places for camping, horseback riding and beautiful scenery. Mesa Verde National Park This is probably the most interesting nat
5、ional park, offering a fascinating trip back in time to 600 AD up to 1300 AD. This park was declared a protected national park in 1906 because of the cliff dwellings (住所) that were found throughout the area, which were once home to American Indians. Many of these dwellings can be walked through, whi

Great Sand Dunes (沙丘沙丘) National Park The Great Sand Dunes National Park lies in South-Central Colorado, about 127 miles from Pueblo. This park has the tallest sand dunes in all of North America and has trails for hiking. The na

We decided to let nature water it with rain, since that was how prairies grew in the past. We sent a picture of the garden to the news s
13、tation. In the picture, the grass was so high that it stood taller than the fourth grade students. As a result, the producer sent a reporter to our school. He interviewed the headmaster and asked him many questions about the garden. After that, they interviewed us, and we explained to them what we h
14、ad learned through this project. That night, we watched the news, and there we were. The news reporter told our story. It was only two minutes long, but it was us. We were famous. All that work, all those blisters, it was worth - 3 - it. We knew that when we saw the garden every day, but now we knew

Unfortunately for Susan and millions of other people with this problem, lactose is found in almost all dairy productscheese, milk and ice cream. Our body uses lactase (乳糖酵素) to break lactose into a simpler form
20、of sugar. Once lactose is broken down, its easy to digest and it provides great energy for the body. But people like Susan dont have enough lactase to break down all the lactose they take in. So, about half an hour to two hours after eating dairy-rich foods, their stomachs begin to hurt and they hav
21、e gas, making their stomachs get bigger. Sometimes they even get diarrhea (腹泻)when they eat too many dairy foods. So how can someone living with this problem still eat out with his or her friends? Here are some tips. If youre going to eat a dairy-rich food like ice cream, eat something that doesnt h
