It began in the late 20th century and focuses on everyday objects. 2. What opinions do people have on contemporar

    3、y art? Some say it lacks skill and meaning while others argue its worth lies in its ability to stimulate new discussions and understanding of everyday objects. 3. What else do you know about contemporary art? Before listening Generally speaking, contemporary art advocates freedom, taking various for

    4、ms. It is abstract, hard to understand, reflecting the inner world and imagination of the artists. Listening Listen to the conversation between Jill and Andrew and choose the main idea from the statements below. 1. Everyone can create art, whatever their background. 2. We can use art to learn about

    5、the world. 3. Art means different things to different people. 4. Everyone should try to include art in their lives. Listening Listen to the conversation again and answer the following questions. 1. Where are the two speakers? They are in an art exhibition. 2. How many artworks are they talking about
