This period mainly talks about how to ask peoples belongings and how to answer. Students need to master two n

    2、ew words: whose, open and sentence pattern: Whose is this? And its answer Its s. Teaching aims include three parts. Knowledge aims. One, students should master two new words: whose, open. Two, students should master the sentence pattern:Whose is this? And its answer Its s. Ability aims. One, student

    3、s will be able to accurately imitate the pronunciation and intonation of the words and sentences on Page 36. Two, students will be able to skillfully use the newly learned words and sentence patterns with the help of pictures or situations. Emotion aims. Cultivate students ability of expressing thei

    4、r ideas in English boldly. Two, cultivate students ability of team work. Three, cultivate students habit of protecting their personal belongings and infiltrate the moral thinking of returning to the owner what one has picked up. Key points and difficult points. Key points are the key words and sente

    5、nce patterns. Difficult points: Use the newly learned words and sentence patterns in situations properly. Teaching methods: Situational teaching method and task-based teaching method. Assessment: Diversified assessment, including students self assessment, group leaders assessment and teachers assess

    6、ment. Now, lets go to the teaching steps. Part I: Warm up. In this step, I design two activities. Activity 1, read loudly. The purpose of this activity is to review some words about goods students learned before and lay the word foundation of the new knowledge. In activity 2, I first present the new

    7、 word whose through the picture of a puppy. Then, present the sentence pattern Whose is this? and its answer Itss. through the song Whose puppy is this?. The purpose of this step is to present the new sentence pattern and let the students previously sense it through the song. Part II: Presentation a

    8、nd practice. I design a situation that three pupils (Tom, Mary and John) are cleaning the classroom after school. During their cleaning, they find a crayon and a key. Here I mainly want to let students practice the new sentence pattern Whose is this? and its answer Itss. At the same time, the new wo

    9、rd open can also be presented through the situation and their dialogue. Then I design a pair work to let students replace the key words in sentence patterns. Lets chant. Whose key is this? Whose key is this? Its Anns key. Its Anns key. Whose watch is this? Whose watch is this? Its Johns watch. Its J

    10、ohns watch. Whose computer is this? Whose computer is this? Its Toms computer. Its Toms computer. The purpose is to use Lets chant to review and consolidate the new knowledge. Meanwhile, the rhythm of Lets chant can stimulate students interest as well. Part III: Consolidation and extension. I design

    11、 three activities in this part. One, Listen and repeat. Here, we should remind the students to pay attention to their pronunciation and intonation. Two, Lets act. Remind the students to pay attention to their expressions, actions and emotions. The third activity is a group work: Lost and found. Stud

    12、ents cooperate with each other in their group and make up a new dialogue using the new knowledge and their existing knowledge. Of course, we should give them an example first. The purpose of this activity is to cultivate students comprehensive ability of English. Part IV: Moral education. Protect yo

    13、ur personal belongings. Remember to return to the owner what you have picked up. Part V: Homework. One, listen to the record of page 36 five times.
