Watching a video and answer the question: What are they talking about? (开门见山，通过一段小视频导入本课的话题 resolutions, 视频由班级 个别学生录制，能够吸引其他同学的注意力，同时贴近他们自己的生 活，容易

5、引起共鸣。) 3. Free talk Q1: Did you make any resolutions before? Q2: Were you able to keep them? Why or why not? (同学们在之前基本上都有过制定计划或决定，针对第一个问题他们 有话可说， 另外一些同学能够保持他们的决定而一些同学中途因为各 种原因放弃了， 进行第二个问题的探讨为文章的阅读以及之后的讨论 奠定基础。) Step 2 Presentation 1. Fast reading 1） Read each paragraph and then get the main idea. As

6、k students to read the whole passage quickly, find the key words and key sentences, then summarize the sentences to get the main idea.
