    4、Teaching procedures: Step 1 Warm-up 1.Greetings. T: Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning, Miss Zhang. T: Good, sit down, please. Ss: Thanks. 2. Watching a video and answer the question: What are they talking about? (开门见山,通过一段小视频导入本课的话题 resolutions, 视频由班级 个别学生录制,能够吸引其他同学的注意力,同时贴近他们自己的生 活,容易

    5、引起共鸣。) 3. Free talk Q1: Did you make any resolutions before? Q2: Were you able to keep them? Why or why not? (同学们在之前基本上都有过制定计划或决定,针对第一个问题他们 有话可说, 另外一些同学能够保持他们的决定而一些同学中途因为各 种原因放弃了, 进行第二个问题的探讨为文章的阅读以及之后的讨论 奠定基础。) Step 2 Presentation 1. Fast reading 1) Read each paragraph and then get the main idea. As

    6、k students to read the whole passage quickly, find the key words and key sentences, then summarize the sentences to get the main idea. (这一部分旨在让学生对全文框架有个初步的了解,锻炼了学生找中 心句以及总结的能力。) 2) Read the passage again, put the sentence A-D in the correct places in the passage. Give students three minutes to find

    8、s? Q4 : How can people remember their resolutions? Divide the whole class into four groups, each group choose one question. The group members need to work together to get the answer.     9、充了答案。) 2)Read the second paragraph, answer the questions and fill in the blanks. 3) Read the third paragraph, finish the task. Give students several minutes and invite some of them to answer.     10、iscuss with their group members, then invite students to show their opinions. After that, the teacher gives her own opinion.
