Teaching aims: 1. Language aims: learn to describe a process and write a recipe. 2. Ability aims: Help st

    4、udents to improve their reading ability and writing ability. 3. Emotional aims: Cook for your beloved people and say “thank you and I love you” to them! 四Key points and difficult points. 1. While-reading: (1)Read the passage quickly to get the general idea and fill in the blanks with the correct words in 3a. Help students to

    8、read it out. (2) Read the article again more carefully and do the task: How many parts can we have in this passage? What are they? Part 1: general introduction Part 2: steps Part 3: an ending (3)Read each part for some details: 1. Read part 1 aloud to summarize how to give a general introduction? He

    9、lp students to find : the place, fame, time. 2. Read part 2 (1) Show a picture of ingredients in Yunnan Rice Noodles. Help students find out “What do we need to make.?” (2) What does “some other things” mean? Help students to know that we can choose different ingredients according to different taste

    10、s. (3) What does “step by step” mean? Help students to pay attention to the order in which you put in the ingredients. 3. Read part 3 Try to change this ending into your own one. 3.After reading: practice Show another famous dish -Mapo tofo. Help students to write the ingredients in it and write som

    11、e steps to cook it. 四四Writing. Work in groups of 6 and write a recipe for your favorite dishes. Students can choose dishes from the screen or some others. Give help if they needed. After writing, they can choose a leader to hang their papers on the blackboard. 五五Lets do it. Watch some pictures of our parents. Lets cook for them and say to them “I Love You and Thank You.” 六Homework 1.Write a recipe by yourself and hand it in next class. 2.Cook something for your parents, you can surf on the Internet to help you.
