1、Unit 8 Is there a post office near here?教材分析本单元以The neighborhood为话题，主要学习词汇：post office、police station、hotel、restaurant、bank、hospital、 street、pay phone、town、neighborhood(places); across from、in front of、behind、north、on the rightleft、crossing、around等，通过教学使学生能在街上用英语问路并为他人指路，并且了解在日常交际中如何得体地运用英语语言向别人问路。通

There be (is，are) +名词+地点状语否定句：There isnt / arent一般疑问句：Is/ Are + 主语 +? 肯定回答：Yes, there is/are. 否定回答：No, there isnt/arent.There be 句型中的主谓一致原则There be句型中be动词的形式要和其后面的主语在人称和数上保持一致。如果句子的主语是单数的可数名词，或是不可数名词，be动词用“is”。如果句子的主语是复数名词，be动词就用“are”。
