3、级，便是在原级young的词尾加上er，变成younger。词义从“年轻的”变成“更年轻的”。比较级的变化 1.单音节词一般直接加-er。low-lower old-older small-smaller 2.以字母e结尾只加-r。late-later nice-nicer 3.以“辅音字母+y”结尾的词，把y变成i，再加-er。angry-angrier early-earlier heavy-heavier 4.重读闭音节词只有一个辅音字母结尾，双写这一辅音字母后再加-er。hot-hotter thin-thinner big-bigger 5.部分双音节词和多音节词，在词前加more。
