1、Good morning, honorable judges! My name is_. Its my great honor and pleasure to have this opportunity to share my teaching ideas with you. The content of my lesson is New Senior English for China Book1 Unit_. Ill begin this lesson from five parts: the analysis of teaching material, the teaching meth
2、ods, the studying of students and learning methods, the teaching procedure, and blackboard design.Part Teaching Material This unit is about science and scientists. By studying this unit, well enable the students to know the serious attitude towards science and develop the interest in science. This l
3、esson pays an important part in this unit. As we know that reading belongs to the language input during the process of the language learning. The input has great effect on output, such as speaking and writing. According to the New English Curriculum and the syllabus, and based on the analysis of the
4、 teaching material and the rule of childrens growing of mind, I think the teaching aims are :1. Knowledge objects:The Ss can master the usage of the important words, expressions and sentence patterns. The Ss can use the patterns to express their thoughts in the proper situation. The Ss can understan
5、d the content of the lesson, talk about and get their own idea about 2. Ability objects:To develop the Ss abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing. To improve the students reading ability, especially their skimming and scanning ability.To guide Ss to set up effective studying strategies

Emotion or moral objects:1) By studying this lesson, the students will , and put the moral education in the language study.In order to achieve these aims, we must be clear about the important points and difficult points: 1. The important pointsTo practice the students reading skills, especially
7、their skimming, scanning, and careful reading ability. To know more about 2. The difficult pointsTo get the main idea of the text and each paragraph quickly and correctly and retell the text with their own understanding.The usage of some key words,expressions and sentence structures and the understa
8、nding of long and difficult sentences.To develop Ss creative and comprehensive abilityWell, how to solve these problems? The teaching methods selection is a key point.Part Teaching MethodsIn my opinion, the main instructional aims of learning English in the Middle School is to develop the students a
9、bilities of listening, speaking, reading, writing and their good sense of English language. So in this lesson Ill mainly use “Communicative” Approach(交际教学法), “Task-based” language teaching (任务教学法). The Situational Approach(情景教学法) . Well, teaching methods and studying methods should be connected. Now
10、 ,lets come to next part-the studying of students and learning methodsPart The Studying of Students and learning Methods Most of the students are from the countryside, and most of them are poor in cooperative learning skills. Some students are not active in the class, and some students dont like Eng
11、lish. Therefore, Ill make Ss get the knowledge actively by probe study and cooperative study and let the Ss pass ObservationImitationPractice to study.Ok, lets put the plan into practice -teaching procedureI will begin this part from seven steps, lead in, pre-reading, while reading, post reading, su
12、mmary, homework, evaluation.Part Teaching ProcedureStep 1. Lead-in. Show some pictures about _to SsTell Ss the background information about Purpose of my design: (1) To catch Ss attention about the topic(2) To stimulate their interest and desire Step 2. Pre-readingLet Ss discuss _ and with each othe
13、r, and then teacher make a summary.Purpose of my design: (1) to get Ss to know something about the _.(2) To have a better understanding about the importance of _.Step 3. While-readingTask 1. Let Ss read the material fast and find out the main idea for each paragraph and discuss them with each other.

Listen to the tape part by part, and Guide Ss to read the material carefully and take some important notes, then answer the questions in the part of comprehending.Purpose of my design: Enable students to understand the text better by using different reading skills. “Task-based” teaching meth
15、od is used here to develop the Ss ability of communication and co-operationStep 4. Post-readingTask 1. Ask Ss to close the book and retell the text with their own words.Task 2. Discuss _with other group members and then choose a reporter to share their opinions about _ with the whole class.Purpose o
16、f my design: If the Ss can finish this task well, they will benefit a lot in their spoken English. Most Ss can take their parts in the activities, especially for the Ss who have trouble in English study. Step 5. SummaryI will go through the important points and difficult points of this lesson with t
17、he students once again. Step 6. Homework1. Choose some good sentences from the text, and ask Ss to keep them in mind.2. Choose to write a report, try their best to use the words, expressions, and sentence patterns they have learnt in this lesson, and make a presentation next class.Purpose of my desi
18、gn: Homework is so important and necessary for Ss to master the knowledge they learned after class. It will check whether the Ss achieve the teaching aims.Step7. EvaluationBy the end of this lesson, students should master the important points and difficult points of this lessonFinally, lets come to
19、the last part Part Blackboard Design. I will divide the blackboard into two parts .The left part will be used to write the important vocabulary and grammar and their usage. For the right part, I will write some sentence of the words, phrases and structures to explain their meaning. Thats all for my
