、erent, I still aim to make my higher education experience as normal as possible.” 文章第一段介绍了克洛伊金是奥运冠军以及她的成功经历;第 二段中的“But the 18yearold snowboarder has decided to trade some trips down the halfpipe for an Ivy

、League education.” Turning an office into a prison, with inmates (囚犯) allowed home for the evenings, does

、nothing for creativity that is increasingly demanded of office workers as routine tasks are automated. Turning an office into a prison, with inmates (囚 犯) allowed home for the evenings 为 with 复合结构作状语; 定语从句 that is increasingly - 8 - demanded of office workers 修饰 creativity;as routine

、tasks are automated 为 as 引 导的原因状语从句。

根据倒数第二段中的“Surely there will be a need for some (preferably short) meetings”可知,开会(最好是短会)对公司是有必要的,故选 A。

“more awake”与 E 项中的“clear”照应。 3F 由此空后的“getting. for the whole day”与 F 项中的“burn calories throughout the day”一致可知,答案为 F 项“在你运动之后,你一整天都在持续消耗卡路 里”。 - 9 -
