Useful words and phrases: Words:watching,listening,washing,cleaning,playing, making,swimming,checking,reading,talking,

    3、using, exercising,preparing,dancing,newspaper, playground. Phrases: watching TV, listening to a CD,washing the dishes,making soup, using the computer,reading a newspaper,talking on the phone, checking students homework, playing basketball, reading a book. E. Grammar language: Present continuous tens

    4、e and Yes/No questions. F. Teaching difficulties: 1.The vocabulary and the sentence structures. 2. Learn the grammar: Present continuous tense. 3. Oral practice using the target language. .     6、 answer” practice with the Ss. 2.The teacher asks the students to answer what he or she is doing in the picture and write them down on the blackboard.(show many pictures to help the Ss.)Teach the new words and expressions. 3.Game:Memory challenge. Step3.Activity 1a:Match 1.Help the Ss talk about the

    7、 pictures. The Ss read these V-ing words after the teacher. Match the words and the activities. Check the answers. 2.Ask some Ss to report their answers. Step4.Activity 1b & 1c: Pair work and listening. 1.Pairwork: Ask the Ss to do “Ask and answer” practice about the picture in pairs. Some pairs pre

    8、sent their dialogues to the class. 2.Play the recording for the Ss to listen. Ss listen and write the number of the activity each person is doing. Check the answers. Step 5: Grammar : Teach the Present Continuous. Let Ss. Learn the Present Continuous tense by watching a video. Step6: Guessing Game 1

    9、. Ask some Ss to do actions and let the class guess what he/she is doing. Ss. should use the sentence: Are you doing.? 2. Look at the pictures and guess what he or she is doing. Ss. should use the sentence: Is he/she doing.? 3. Look at the pictures and guess what they are doing. Ss. should use the s

    10、entence: Are they doing.? Step7: Group-work 1. Enjoy a video-Our happy school trip. 2. Work in groups of five or six and design your poster including where you are and what you are doing. 3. Show time. Ask some groups to show their posters in front of the class and give comments on their performance. Step 8: Moral development Enjoy every happy moment in life! Step 9: Homework Talk about what your family members are doing at 7:00 P.m.
