Continue to learn how to ask time using “What time/When”. - What time do you usually get up? - I usually get up at six thirty. - When do your friends exercise? -He always exercises on weekends. b.

Students can arrange activities using what weve learned. 3. Emotion Aims: a. Students can arrange their time properly. b. Form a good habit of st

    3、udy and rest. II. Teaching Importance and Difficulties: 1. Teaching Importance: Talking about their daily habits using adv. “always, usually, often, never.” 2. Teaching Difficulties: Use frequency adverbs properly and express their daily habits. III. Teaching Steps: Step1. Greeting T: Good morning!

    4、Nice to meet you again. Did you have a good weekend? S: Yes! T: Today is Monday. Do you have a busy morning? S: Yes, I do. T: What do you usually do on school days? S: get up, wash my face (Purpose: Make the teacher and students closer, and lead into the topic in this class. ) Step2. Lead in T: Lets

    5、 enjoy an English song, and find out what they do in the morning. Students enjoy an English song, then answer the question. Q: What do they do in the morning? Students: wake up, get up, brush teeth, and eat breakfast. (Purpose: Use an English song to make students interested in the class and lead in

    6、to the topic in this class.) Step3. Revision 1. Show some pictures about daily activities on ppt, and students speak English. 2. Check Homework: Write important phrases on papers. (Purpose: revise the phrases we learnt last class.) Step4. Read and Discussion 1. Read. Read important sentences in Gram

    7、mar Focus. First, boys ask and girls answer. Then, girls ask and boys answer. (Make sure they read fluently.) 2. Discussion. Students discuss in groups of four, then summarize the grammar knowledge by themselves. At last, fill in the blanks on papers and check in class. (Purpose: Encourage students

    8、to think and find by themselves.) Step5. Exercise 3a 1. Students do some exercises on papers to consolidate grammar. 2. Check answers. (Purpose: According to my students level, I change the form of 3a to make sure them to master better.) Step6. Exercise 3b 1. Write some sentences about their family

    9、using “always, usually, never”. 2. Show the sentences in class. (Purpose: Go on drilling the target language.) Step7. An interview (3c) 1. Work in group of three. One student is the interviewer, other students are interviewees. Ask questions like this: What time do you get up on weekends/ exercise/

    10、eat dinner? Then, some groups act in class. 2. Give a report in class. In our group, Li Hua has the best lifestyle. He usually gets up at Step8. A Motto Time lost can not be recalled. 时间一去不复返。 Time works wonders! 时间可以创造奇迹。 Step9. Homework 1. Make a time-table(时间表) for yourself, and try to have a good lifestyle. 2. Make more sentences using “always, usually, never”.
