The ability aims: Grasp the readings general idea by using the reading skill of skimming and find out the detailed information by using the reading skill of scanning. Know how to retell Helen and Jims school trip by making pair-works between

    3、 a reporter and Helen / Jim. Know to write our own stories by using past tense. The emotional aims: Educate students to be positive and optimistic about our life and love our life. Teaching procedures: Step Guide-reading 1. Greeting and warming up. 2. Divide the students into two groups and bring so

    4、me competitions between them.Tell them if they can answer my questions positively and correctly,then they will get some gifts for their group. 3. Talk about two stories about myself.One is a good story about visiting the Rice Field Park in Anren which is very beautiful and popular to all of the peop

    5、le in Anren . The other story is a bad and stupid story to me about taking out the trash. I will use some description words to describe my feelings. For example, I use sunny/windy/lovely/beautiful/interesting/exciting to describe the good story and I use terrible/stupid to describe the bad story.The

    6、n Lead in more description words in 2a. 4. Review,read and translate the words by using some activities. 5. Ask students if the following words describe good things or bad things.
