6、t day . 2、语法精讲语法精讲 1) whether / if 引导的宾语从句 由 if 或 whether 引导的宾语从句。if 和 whether 在句中的意思是“是否”。不可以省略. I want to know if(whether)he lives there. He asked me whether(if)I could help him. 2)下面五种情况只能用 whether, 不可以用 if. (1)和动词不定式连用时, 只能用 whether. 例如: I dont know whether to leave here. (2)和 or not 连用时,只能用 whe
7、ther, or not 可以放在句末。 例如: She wanted to know whether she went there or not. (3)用在介词后面时, 只能用 whether。例 如: I am worried about whether we can finish the work on time. (4)放在句首时,只能用 whether, 不能用 if。 例如: Whether this is true or not,I cant say这是否真的我说不上来。 (5)在动词 discuss 后面的宾语从句。例如: We discussed whether we ha
8、d a sports meeting the next week. 3)疑问词引导的宾语从句 由连接代词 who, whom, whose, what, which 和连接副词 when, where, why, how 引导的宾 语从句。这些连接代词和连接副词在宾语从句中充当某个成分,不可以省略。例如: Do you know who(whom)they are waiting for now? He asked whose handwriting was the best in their class. Can you tell me where the No.3 bus stop is?

(1) lonely 与 alone 的区别 lonely 带有较浓厚的感情色彩,表示“寂寞” “孤独”,因缺少朋友、友谊而产生的一种悲 伤和忧郁的感情; alone 只是陈述一个事实,表示“独自的” “单独的”(没有其他人在场) 。 She was alone in the room. 她独自一人在
14、屋里。 翻译:He was alone, but he was not lonely. 他独自一人,但他并不孤独。 4. explain explain 作动词,意为“解释,说明,阐明”。 explain sth. to sb. 意为“想某人解释某事” explain + that 从句。 Please explain that rule to me. 请把这条规则给我讲一讲。 翻译:He explained that we could no longer stay. 他解释说我们不能再待下去了。 5. treat treat 作动词,意为“治疗;对待;看待”。 treatment 是 tre
15、at 的名词形式,意为“对待;待遇;治疗”。 The dentist is treating my teeth. 牙医正在治疗我的牙齿。 翻译:Marry treats me as one of the family. 玛丽对待我就像家人一样。 6. patient patient 作名词,意为“病人”。 patient 作形容词,意为“有耐心的, 能忍受的”,后接 with/of。 Hes a very patient man. 他是个很有耐心的人。 这位老师对学生很耐心。 The teacher is very patient with his students. 翻译:The docto
