6、at 引导的主语从句，注意what在句中并非疑问词，而是连接代词。在该句中使用名词性从句，起到一定的强调作用。主语从句 主语从句就是在复合句中作主语的名 词性从句,通常放在主句谓语动词之前 置于句首,也可用形式主语 it 代替,而将主语从句放至句末。主语从句主要有以下几类：1、由连词 that 引导的主语从句that 无实际意义,只起连接作用,在句中不作成分且置于句首时不可以省略(it 作形式主语,that 引导的从句作真正主语时,that 可省略)。2、由连词 whether,if 引导的主语从句whether 和if有词义(意为“是否”),在句中不作成分但不可以省略。注意:if引导的主语从

7、句不位于句首,可用于 it 作形式主语的句型中。3、由连接代词引导的主语从句由连接代词 who，whose,whom,which,what,whoever,whomever,whichever,whatever 等引导的主语从句,其连接代词在从句中起名词性作用,有词义且充当一定成分。特别注意(1)连接词 that 与 what 的区别that 只起连接作用,无意义,在从句中不充当任何成分。what 既起连接作用，又在从句中作主语、宾语、表语等。(2)what/whatever,who/whoever 等引导的主语从句的意义差别whoever,whatever 等引导的主语从句不含有疑问意义,相

8、当于名词或代词后加一个定语从句,即 whoever 可以换成 anyone who,whatever 可以换成 anything that。4、由连接副词when，where，why,how 等引导的主语从句,其连接副词有含义,且常在从句中作状语。5、it作形式主语，从句作真正主语为了使句子平衡,通常使用形式主语,而将真正的主语从句放在后面。it作形式主语，从句作真正主语的具体用法如下：（1）It+be+名词短语+从句。这样的名词短语有a fact，a surprise，an honour,a pity,common knowledge/sense(常识)等。（2）It+be+形容词+从句。这

9、样的形容词有funny，natural，true，strange,important,obvious,certain，wonderful，possible，likely，probable 等。（3）It+动词（短语）+从句。这样的动词有 happen，look，matter，strike(+sb),occur（+to sb)等。(4)It+be+过去分词+从句。这样的分词有 said(据说），reported（据报道），believed(人们相信)，known（众所周知)，decided（已决定），proved(已证实),thought,expected,announced，arranged
