    43、 of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.She gave up the opportunity of working in big cities after she received a masters degree from Beijing Normal University in 2016.She accepted the appointment to work as the Party Chief of Baini village back in Guangxi.Though many people did not take her seriously

    44、when she started out in this little village,Huang eventually won the hearts of the people with her hard work and perseverance.Today,many people remember her fondly and mourn the loss of this young woman who had touched the lives of many.When Huang first began to work in Baini,a village in Baises Ley

    45、e county,she was determined to find solutions to help the poor.Unfortunately,she discovered that she was treated with suspicion and even hostility from some of the poor households.Some people questioned her motives,believing that she was only pretending to care about their welfare toimprove her own

    46、career prospects.Others found the idea of escaping poverty to be unrealistic.Disheartened,Huang sought out the former Party Chief of Baini and was told that the villagers would accept her only if they knew her.Bearing that advice in mind,Huang worked hard to gain the respect of the villagers.She lea

    47、rnt to speak the local dialect.She rolled up her sleeves and worked together with the locals to do household chores.She even went with them to their farms to plant seeds and pick fruit.Once the villagers began to be warm to her,Huang found it easier to learn about their problems and help them to fin

    48、d solutions.For instance,she helped one farmer,Huang Bangxuan,obtain a subsidy to begin growing his own fruit trees.Another farmer,WeiNaiqing,obtained a discounted loan with Huangs help and was able to plant his own tea oil trees.Since the beginning of her stint as the Party Chief of Baini from 2018

    49、,Huang was a proponent of local agriculture.Under her stewardship,orange farmland increased by 300%.Experts were also invited to Baini to share their knowledge on how to improve the quality of the produce and to make the process more efficient.Huangs efforts had directly or indirectly led to a treme

    50、ndous reduction in poverty:less than 3%of the villagers live in poverty today,compared to 23%over a year ago.Sadly,on 17 June 2019,Huang perished during a flash flood on her way to Baini,when her car was swept off the mountain and washed into the valley.Her friends and family had tried to dissuade h
