15、western Pacific Ocean lies the deepest place on the planet the Mariana Trench, also called the Marianas Trench. But because very few humans have been able to go far into it, scientists know very little about it.The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and several partners are worki

18、tly above freezing and its pressure is extremely high. That means only certain animals can live there.So far, the expeditions cameras have filmed a wide variety of rarely seen deep-sea creatures. They include ghost sharks, large lobsters(龙虾) and sea pigs. Perhaps the most amazing sight was a beautif
19、ul glowing jellyfish that scientists have never seen before. It was found on April 24 at a depth of more than 12, 000 feet.Scientists hope this expedition, which ends on July 10, will help them unlock the mysteries of the Mariana Trench. They will use the information collected by the expedition to m
