    3、 and then they are expected to apply what they learn to write a science fiction.2.Grasp some key words and expressions of the passages they learned for writing.Knowledge aims:1.Have the overall comprehension of the reading passageAbility aims:1.Learn to write according to the structure of the passag

    8、utes)Step2 reading(5minutes)After each passage,there will be some extension for the students to further their understanding.One is“What do you think was the most thrilling experience during their journey?”Another is“If you had a time machine,what would you like to see,the future or the past?Why?What

    9、 would you expect to see there?”Purpose:Give some chances for the students to express their feeling freely,which can develop their ability of speaking greatly.Also I think its my way to lighten this class.ExtensionWhat elements make up a story?Based on the questions they solved just now,they can eas

    10、ily find they are Time,place,setting,characters,plot and ending etc.(5 minutes)Divide the class into two groups.Each group should read one of the stories again and find out the basic elements of each story.Purpose:when then write,they should consider these elements,which can help them organize their

    11、 story easier.Step3 discussion(10 minutes)Step4 practiceTips for writing:Share the students some tips for writing their own science fiction stories in order that the students can get some ideas of how to write their own stories.Show the example to ensure they know what to say.Ask them to divide the

    12、tasks properly.Draft the outline.This is the necessary part for the output.This is a good chance for the students to show themselves.This step is also reflecting that the students are the center of our modern classes.(10 minutes)Step5 presentation 学生评价学生评价Ask students to discuss whose story is the b

    14、a booklet.Make full use of our imagination,which can make our life more wonderful!教学反思教学反思:1.成功之处:一是导入部分的短片成功地吸引了学生的注意力;二是在第四个合作环节学生都能积极参与;三是在第五个展示环节学生自信地展示自己的作品,有创意,表现了学生无穷的想象力。2.不足之处:学生的课前准备不够充分,很多学生根本没有听说过这部科幻小说;此外,在展示自己的作品时,语言表达不规范,无论词法、句法还是语法都有很多错误。3.再教设计:一、要求学生课前预习课文,查阅相关原版小说或者根据小说拍摄的电影,这样学生能最大限度熟悉文章内容,有利于后面的教学活动;二、布置学生查阅相关的科幻小说常用的词汇与话题;三、要求学生广泛阅读各种科幻类小说。
