17、skiing. It may be a game of some kind, football, hockey, golf or tennis. It may be mountaineering. Those who have a passion for climbing high and difficult mountains are often looked upon with astonishment. Why are men and women willing to suffer cold and hardship, and to take risks on high mountains

18、? This astonishment is caused probably by the difference between mountaineering and other forms of activity to which men give their relaxation.Mountaineering is a sport and not a game. 20、rence is that mountaineering is not a “team game”. We should be mistaken in this. What about hanging out with Laozi in the Spring and Autumn Period? Or maybe youd voyage far ahead of the present day to see what the future holds. The possibility

It is generally credited with the popularization of the concept of time travel using a vehicle that allows an operator to travel purposefully and selectively. The term “time machine”, coined by Wells, is

38、now universally used to refer to a vehicle transporting people into the far future. But could time travel actually be possible? Some scientists say yes, in theory. They propose using cracks in time and space called“wormholes”, which could be used as shortcuts to other periods. Einsteins theory of rel
