    11、ion in the Chinese art history.Longmen Grottoes-Longmen Grottoes are known as one of Chinas three major treasure troves of grotto art.-Mogao Grottoes Situated at the cliffs of the Soughing Sand Hill 25 kilometers southeast of Dunhuang City.The Grottoes were started in 366AD,the 2nd year of Jianyuan

    12、in the Former Qin State.Mogao Grottoes are acclaimed as“the World Gallery”,which were listed as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 1987.-Yungang Grottoes Known as one of the three major cave complexes in China,the grottoes started to be built in 460 when Datong was the capital and the political
