A previous knowledge about attributive clause learned in junior school and the knowledge about the reading passage will help them understand the target structure in the real situation. With the help
3、of the teacher organizing all the situations and involving the target structures in the passage, it is possible for students to discover the rules and put them into practice.II. Learning objectives According to the analysis above, here come the learning objectives. First, language objectives. By the
4、 end of the lesson, Ss will be able to know the form, meaning and function of the present continuous tense expressing futurity. Second, language skill objectives. By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to use present continuous tense to express future actions. Next is learning strategy. During th
5、e class, they will sort and summarize what they have learned, try to discover the grammatical rules. As for emotion and cultural awareness objectives, Ss will be able to be conscious of their schedule in real life and develop the habit of planning in advance. With the help of teacher, it is easy for
6、 the students to discover and use the target structure, which is the key point of this lesson. In order to help the students to deal with the difficult point, that is how to use present continuous tense to express a plan or something to be done according to plan, Ill adopt the following solutions: l
7、earn the target structure in meaningful discourses; practice the grammatical items in real life situations; talk about future activities.Although they are students of Grade 1 senior high school, the students lack related vocabulary and poor in cooperative learning skills.
