3、entation of the exemptions of duties & taxes granted for Diar Dushanbe Project and also, the list of materials to be used during construction of Phase 1 (derived from the Contract BOQ) has been prepared by IMS in both English and Russian and currently is being translated into Tajik language, to be s

4、ubmitted to the Customs Authority if required.” We really appreciated your sincere effort being exerted since from the beginning of the Project. To facilitate us to clear the Goods being imported by the Contractor from the local customs office without any delay, we kindly ask you to avail us the fol

5、lowings:l The latest status of the exemption of duties and taxes viz. the final agreement between the Employer and the Customs Authority;l The list of materials to be used during construction Phase 1 (derived from the Contract BOQ). Besides that, we kindly remind you that All Goods imported by the C

6、ontractor should also include the Contractors equipment and the like for the execution of the said project, which is subject to the exemption from the duties and taxes pursuant to the Sub-Clause 14.16 Exemption-PCC. Therefore, the major items as enclosed herewith should be incorporated into the list

7、 of materials (instead of only derived from the Contract BOQ). Any essential materials or equipments which are not listed therein should be updated in due course, if any.
