Many companies and facilities were becoming ruins during the war. What America did during the war was not only selling weapons but also

7、 developing its film industries. American movies flowed into Europe and won its market. After the war, a lot of European directors went to America which lays the foundation of Americas transforming to the biggest film country in the world. In 1919, Chaplin built up United Artists Corp. From that tim

8、e, directors were not the center of film making any more.
