    5、, India, Gandhi was the son of a government official. He studied law at the University of London, becoming a barrister in 1891. Gandhi moved to South Africa to work in law shortly after and was soon asked by an Indian businessman to represent his company. However, Gandhi soon realised the discrimina

    6、tion that Indians faced every day there and decided to become a voice for those discriminated against. In his years in South Africa, he tirelessly worked for Indian rights. In 1915, he returned to India, where he continued his work to help Indians win greater rights in their own country and in the p
