Also, the decorations inside the library, like the postcard wall, the pictures, the desks and chairs, were built using the old fishing nets, wooden parts and nails from the boats. People can read, study and hold activities there.In
3、 the middle of a pear orchard in Xiyu Village, Pengzhou, Sichuan Province, there is a three-story library. It has become a place for villagers of different ages to read books and enjoy their free time. The library is a 500 m2 building with glass walls. On the first floor of the library is an exhibit
4、ion room. It shows old photos of Xiyu Village, local food and so on. On the second floor is the reading room with about 4,000 books. The reading room also provides drinks. On the third floor is a multifunctional room where people can enjoy DIY activities.These two libraries are amazing, dont you thi
5、nk? In fact, every rural library has its own beauty. Rural libraries help villagers learn and communicate. With them, villages are becoming a better place to live. He recycles bottles and cans to help students in Hawaii reach their college dreams.In the beginning, Genshu recycled bottles and cans to save money for his college tuition. But then he came up with a bigger idea: Why not recycle more bott
7、les and cans to help other students. So he started Bottles4College three years ago. Its goal is to collect and recycle 2 to 4 million bottles and cans each year to help up to 2 students pay for their college tuition.Genshu said Bottles4College was based on four pillars: education, environment, commu
8、nity and lifestyle. “Were helping the environment by recycling,” he said. “Were helping education by providing tuition for Hawaiian kids and inspiring them to get a good education. And then were bringing communities together. At the same time, the three pillars above become a part of our life so wer
