He is very attracted to the prince, largely because he is childlike, innocent(天真), and pure. The narrator admits that he prefers the openness, honesty, and naivete of children to the pretensions(虚荣做作) and blindness of adults, who cannot see beyond the surface of life. The narrator feels very close to the little prince because he is able to see the truth and importance of things. Even after six years, he remembers everything about this little man from another planet; as a result, he writes the book in memory of him.- About the authorP8 Activity 1 Read the introduction to the author and answer the question:What experience made the author write The Little Prince?Step 1 While-reading Read the passage, think about the following questions and complete the filling in blanks in the leading paper :1.
