    1、高中英语人教版新教材选择性必修二 Unit2 Reading and Thinking 教学设计教学分析The topic of this unit is “Bridging Cultures”, which is involvedwith crossing-cultural interaction. And going abroad for furthereducation is a way for ss to learn the cultures around the worldand promote Chinese culture. The reading text just shows

    2、 theexperience of an exchange student, Xie Lei in adapting to the newenvironment. In a new cultural surrounding, exchange ss may findit hard to adapt to the new life and academic requirements. Toovercome all kinds of cultural shocks, they will try to fit into thenew culture through learning new thin

    3、gs and asking for helps. Inthis process, they will embrace the new culture and share theirown culture. Then, they will just function as a cultural messengerwho are building a bridge among cultures. For ss, they areinterested about it since its related to their future development.But they know few ab

    4、out cultural shocks and some tips incrossing-cultural interactions.
