    2、 headmaster.2.The door remained closed.3.My job is to teach you English.4.The reason why he came late was that his clock didnt work.【课内探究案】【课内探究案】1.What is the predicative?表语是用来说明主语的身份、性质、品性、特征和状态的,表语常由名词、代词、数词、动词过去分词、动词的-ing 形式、副词、介词短语、形容词、不定式和从句等来充当。2.表语从句的定义:The question is difficult.( 表 )The que

    3、stion is who will do it.( 表 )在复合句中做表语的从句,叫做表语从句。它位于主句的系动词之后,对主语进行解释说明,使主语的内容具体化。3.可以接表语从句的系动词有:(1)状态系动词:be(2)感官系动词:feel , seem , look, appear ,sound, taste , smell(3)持续系动词:stand , lie , remain ,keep, stay(4)变化系动词:become ,get , grow , turn ,go , come, run, fall(5)终止系动词:prove, turn out24. 引导词从属连词:that

    4、 / whether /as if /as though (if 不引导表语从句)连接代词:who / whom / whose / which/what连接副词:when / where / why / how(1)thatthat 在从句中仅起连接作用,无实际意义,在句中不作任何成分,不能省略。My opinion is that its getting better and better.(2)whetherwhether 在句子中不充当任何成分,但具有“是否”的意义。注意:if 不能引导表语从句。1The question is whether it is worth doing.2T

    5、he question is whether we can win them.(3)as if/throughas if / though 引导表语从句时,在句子中不充当任何成分,但有意义。译为:似乎,好像。1He looks as if he were a rich man.2It sounds as if someone is knocking at the door.as if/as though 引导的表语从句如果是事实,就用陈述语气,如果与事实不符,就用虚拟语气(主句一般现在时,从句就用一般过去时。主句是一般过去时,从句用过去完成时 )。The young man with long

Could you tell me who he is?(6) which 在引导表语从句时,常充当定语,表语表示哪一个,哪一些。I read about it in some book or another,but what I don tknow is which (book) it is.3(7)where, when, why, how 除在句中起连接作用外,在从句中还充当时间、地点、方式、原因状语
