For Liu Xiang, life as a sports hero began in 2004. First, he was invited to competitions around the world. Then, he was chosen for the Chinese team at the Athens Olympic Games and won a gold medal. Liu Xiang was not a successful sportsman at first. He was born in Shanghai on 13th July 1983, and started training when he was very young. In Grade 4, he went to the Sports School of Putuo District of Shanghai. Liu was encouraged at first to train for the high jump.Reading In 1998, Liu Xiangs ability in hurdling was noticed by Sun Haiping, who later became his coach. In 2001, a special programme was set up to help young sportsmen and sportswomen. Liu Xiang was among them. His races were recorded, and he was compared with the worlds best sports stars. Sun Haiping used the information to change his training methods for Liu Xiang. In May 2001, Liu Xiang won his first international 110m hurdles race in Japan. In 2004, he won the first Olympic gold medal for China in the 110m hurdles race, and at the same time broke the Olympic Games record. It was also the first time an Olympic gold medal for hurdling was hung round the neck of a sportsperson from an Asian country. Liu Xiang trained very hard. In fact, he trained so hard that he hurt his foot. From 2008 on, he suffered a lot from his foot problem, but he did not give up. Though he missed some competitions , he still returned to first place in the world 110m hurdles race in 2012. It is a pity that his foot problem stoppedhim from completing the 2012 London Olympic Games. Use the sentences you wrote in Activity 6 to help you.教学设计教学主题外延版九年级上 M8 Sports life U2 He was invited to competitions around the world.一、教材分析九年级上册主要学习的语法就是被动语态和定语从句。从第七模块到第第九模块全是被动语态。可见被动语态的重要性。被动语态是和汉语截然不同的一种语法。对培养学生的英语思维显得尤为重要本节课重点:一般过去时的被动语态:was/were+done .学生在掌握的时候,很多学生和初一初二的时态很容易混淆。因此在讲解本节课语法时,先让学生有个感性认识,先别急于求成。难点:第二单元的这篇文章共有六个段落。学生的阅读速度实在是太慢。九年级攻克的一个最大的难点就是阅读速度。中考共考七篇文章。得阅读者,得天下。 二、学生分析九年级学生年龄偏大,不像初一初二的学生那么活泼。思想、心理、行为等具有一定的复杂性和特殊性,认真研究分析这一时期学生的特点,采取科学有效的措施,对促进毕业班英语教学质量的提高十分重要。九年级九班,一共有 8 个小组,共有 48 名学生。在英语学习方面,课堂气氛比较沉闷。对语法的系统性缺乏。特别是被动语态更是刚刚接触,学生很难接受。考虑此情况,我在英语课堂采取高效愉悦的措施。在本节课中我采取以下措施:1、目标和物质激励。2、培养学生的信心。3、因材施教。4 、要引导学生学会合作 三、教学目标知识目标:掌握一些主要的词汇和句型 be invited to do , be encouraged to do , set up ,be compared to do , so-that, suffer-from, stop -from doing , take pride in . 了解一般过去时的被动语态结构:was/were + done。能力目标:引导学生理解课文内容,掌握阅读技巧,如扫读、细读、概括文章大意,利用上下文信息猜词等。情感目标:通过阅读课文,并设计各种活动训练学生运用英语进行听说读写各种活动的能力。通过了解刘翔的故事,培养学生的顽强拼搏精神。让学生拥有永不放弃的精神。四、教学环境简易多媒体教学环境 交互式多媒体教学环境 网络多媒体环境教学环境 移动学习 其他五、信息技术应用思路(突出三个方面:使用哪些技术?在哪些教学环节如何使用这些技术?使用这些技术的预期效果是?)200 字1.通过对教材的精心整合,我将本节课的信息做成了 PPT,使教学内容更加直观。加上刘翔的跑步视频,使效果更加直观。大大激发了学生的兴趣。在导入环节使用了微视频,在读中、读后、安排作业等环节使用 PPT、思维导图的制作技术,形象直观的呈现本节课的内容设计,充实教学内容,使信息技术真正为课堂教学服务。2.为了使小组活动更加活跃, 通过对教材的细心领悟后,我们将课堂讲学的大量信息用心做成了 PPT,使教学内容更加直观,加快课堂教学节奏,想方设法去弥补教学中的不足利用电子白板的交互作用,与 PPT 相结合,更好的发挥师生互动。 3.通过使用思维导图,帮助学生理解讲述一个完整的故事需要哪些要素以及更直观的让学生了解不同的人对同一件事情有着不同的见解。对刘翔的发展史有了清晰的认识。印象更加深刻。将思维导图融入英语教学,能激发学习兴趣,创设学习情境,拓展学生视野,对发展学生主体性、创造性和培养学生创新精神和实践能力具有重要意义。在教学过程中, 也融入了 moocs 理念和翻转课堂的理念,课堂效率大大提高。4.在课前,播放音乐,提高学生的注意力,让学生更加快乐。 我们在课前,情感教育环节,加深印象。在写作和分享环节,一直在播放轻柔地音乐,以此营造一种温馨的氛围。5. 课堂结束后的作业,既有对本节课目标的巩固,也有对网络资源的利用,帮助学生多渠道地开发利用学习资源。提高了学生的阅读理解能力。六、教学流程设计(可加行)教学环节(如:导入、讲授、复习、训练、实验、研讨、探究、评价、建构)教师活动学生活动信息技术支持(资源、方法、手段等)Lead-in(warming up)教师用视频展示激发学生的学习兴趣,立刻把学生带人课堂。为下一步的学习做好铺垫教师用 PPT 展示,使用多媒体课件导入直观、生动,能吸引学生的注意力,有助于激发他们的学习兴趣。SkimmingRead the passage and choose the sentence 略读课文,了解文章的整体结构和大体内容,然后选出最能表达出中心的句教师用 PPT 展示,使用多媒体课件导入直观、生动,大大节省了课堂时间。which best expresses the main idea 让学生略读,选出最能表达出的句子 子Careful reading1Read Para 12, and answer the questions:通过问题使学生有针对性的细节阅读细读第一第二段,回答问题。1.Was Liu Xiang chosen for the Chinese team at the Athens Olympic Games?2.Was Liu Xiang a successful sportsman at first ?3. A special programme _. 一个特殊的组织被成立用以帮助年轻的男女运动员。5.He _ the worlds best sports stars. 他与世界上最好的体育明星进行对比。6.Liu Xiangs ability in hurdling _ Sun Haiping.通过读李娜的文章,进一步提高学生的阅读理解能力。七、教学特色(如为个性化教学所做的调整,为自主学习所做的支持、对学生能力的培养的设计,教与学方式的创新等)200 字左右在分析了学情,细心挖掘了教材的基础上,考虑学生的认知差异性,关注学生的情感,注意到学生的能力、心理水平及差异性。有的放矢,分层次,因材施教,所以我们设置的任务台阶低、密度大、环环相扣、层层推进,力争给有差异的学生设置合适的教学目标,通过小组合作学习在提高学习自信心的基础上进一步有效激发学生的求知欲。运用 PPT 让学生了解相关的话题背景。同时视频紧扣本节课的话题主线, 顺理成章的进入下一个环节看图预测,有效的促进了课堂教学活动的开展。略读通过 PPT 设计了“填写概要、图文结合、划分段落”三个步骤,初步感知文章大意。精度通过 PPT 设计比较级的相关题目。总结设计了“Flash 图画,思维导图”两个步骤形象、直观呈现篇章结构。得阅读者得天下。在教学设计中我们也注重了对学生阅读策略的指导和培养。着力培养学生进行预测、获取文章大意的能力;通过 Skimming、Scanning 等阅读策略的使用,让学生学会捕捉文章的关键信息,提高自己的阅读能力。培养阅读能力的同时,兼顾听说读写,关注学生综合素质的提升。教授语言知识的同时,贴近日常生活,有利学生的身心情感发展。依托互联网电影、文本资料、ppt,视频等大量资料来拓宽我的课堂。在本节课中,我同时将 Moocs 理念加入到我的教学设计中。秉持了 Moocs 理念,我的每个教学环节都设计的时间很短,要传递的知识点也很明确,比如观影这个环节,要求他们自由讨论和补充。根据九年级学生特点,及时捕捉他们的学习兴趣。,翻转课堂我也利用了一部分,我落实了先学后教的原则,学生来上课之前做好了大量的兴趣准备,这样整节课堂他们是有的放矢地在参与的。
