Sheand her research team wanted to know the Internet was changing memory. In the firstexperiment, they gave people 40 unimportant facts to type into a computer. The

Later, the second groupremembered the information better. People in the first group knew they could find theinformation again, so they did not try to remember

Surprisingly, people later remembered the folderlocation better than the facts. When people use the Inter
