First, Lets watch a short video, and find an important question about the time. (After watching) T: Can you find the question? Ss: What time is it? T

5、: Yes, the question is “What time is it?” When we want to ask the time ,we can use this sentence. We can also say “Whats the time?”. Do you want to know how to answer the question? OK, lets learn how to answer the question together. Step 3Learn how to ask and answer the questions about the time. 1.

6、(教师手举一个时钟。) T: Whats this? Ss: “Its a clock.”。 T:Yes, its a clock. (重复几遍。) Ss: It is a clock. (学生跟读。) T: What time is it? (板书，教学新句型，并要求学生掌握。) What time is it? (时钟指向到两点。) Ss: It is two. First we read the hour, then we read the minute we call it “顺读法” ， First we read the minute, then we read the hour, we call it “逆读法” ,and we should use past. Then teach Ss read the following time (时钟指向到 2

8、:10,2:15,2:20,2:30)。 Teach the new words -quarter and half. T: Whats the time, please? Ss: It is seven fifteen. T:Yes, we can also answer “It is fifteen past two.” or “It is a quarter past two.” T: Whats the time? Ss: It is two thirty. T: Yes. We can also answer “It is half past two.”Then ask Ss to
