Using PPT to telling students other different meaning of can. T: Oh, these animals can do lots of things , but the word can has many other meanings. look at the pictures. b. Today well read a story about a can.Look at the pictures and read silently ,get the fundamental of this story. (1)How many animals are there in this story? (2)Who are they? C. Students answer the questions and check the answers. Step3. While-reading: a. Picture1 (1)There are so many animals in this story, it must be very funny. listen, someone is crying ! whats wrong? (2)Listen to the tape and remember the two questions: Q1.where does the can want to go? Q2:where is the cans home? (3)we know the can wants to go home ,but where is the can now? look at PPTand answer. (4)Guess :does the bird help the can? (5)Teacher and students read the sentences in different roles. b.
