Module 4 Unit 11 自评 我执教的内容是上海教育出版社 2011 课标版教材,四年级英语 上册 Module 4 Unit 11 Shapes.接下来就我的这节课进行一下简单 的自评: 本节课学习的内容是形状的单词,以及谈论形状的数量。教材 在呈现形状单词时只有三个,但要完成本节课的语言目标,就必须 让学生了解并认读另外两个形状单词:triangle /rectangle.在对 句型的把握上,学生在本册书 Unit 7 中才学过 There be 句型。基 于这样的分析,我把本节课的教学目标定为: 1、能听懂、会说并认读五个形状的单词,以及谈论形状的数 量。 2、通过形式多样的活动,训练学生听、说、读的能力和对核 心语言的运用能力。 3、通过体验、参与,提升学生发现美、创造美的能力。 教学重点即五个形状单词和谈论形状的数量,教学难点则相应 地调整为:triangle /rectangle 的认读,以及用 There is/are 介绍 自己小组的拼图作品。 英语课程标准的基本理念中提出:采用活动途径,倡导体验参 与。让学生在教师的指导下,通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作 等方式,实现任务的目标,感受成功。在学习过程中形成积极的学 习态度,促进语言实际运用能力的提高。因此,对于本节课的教学, 我主要的设计意图就是:采用形式多样的活动贯穿于课堂的始终, 创设一个儿童化、趣味化、情景化的氛围,帮助学生掌握重点、突 破难点。 一、歌曲引入,初步感知 热身环节是用歌曲,带领学 生进入英语课的学习。旨在营造宽松、和谐的教学氛围,同时通过 歌词内容自然衔接到对星形的关注,进一步引出话题:Shapes. 二、形式多样,逐一突破 由于教授的重点是形状,就采用了直接展示法,并穿插各种形 式的练习:包括 one by one,boys/girls 等大家常用的方法。对于 难点的这两个单词,为避免枯燥的练习,我采用了两个学生喜闻乐 见的游戏,一个是投沙包,另一个是找物品。尤其是 rectangle, 学生通过大小声引导前面的这名学生找形状时,会不断重复练习, 从而达到熟练记忆的目的。之后的巩固环节,通过“Whats missing?”进一步强化所学单词,让学生加深记忆。 在单词掌握之后,出示了一幅由几种形状拼出的房屋图片引出 句型,由于 How many 这个句型学生在三年级已经接触过,所以在这 里我的处理就比较简单,直接出示句型,然后出示每种形状让学生 先说出单词,然后用英语数数并填空。 三、动手实践,总结升华 根据课标中对“任务型”教学活动的要求:1、活动要有明确的 目的并具有可操作性;2、活动要以学生的生活经验和兴趣为出发点, 内容和方式要尽量真实;3、活动应积极促进英语学科和其他学科间 的相互渗透和联系,使学生的综合素质得到发展等。基于这样的认 识,我们借鉴了梦想课堂的一些理念,设计了一个 DIY 活动,让学 生利用所学的形状拼图,并用英语来描述。通过形状拼图活动,不 仅锻炼了学生的动手能力和小组合作能力;而且学生充分发挥他们 的想象力,关键在拼图完成后,学生能合理运用今天所学的核心语 言进行描述,真正达到在实际情境中运用语言交际的目的。 最后,结合一些著名景点的图片,感受形状带给我们的视觉美, 进而升华到用我们的慧眼去发现更多、双手去创造更多。 总体来说,从学生的参与以及最终的课堂反馈,这节课的学习 目标基本达成,尤其是五个形状的单词落实到位。但也有一些不足 之处,比如展示环节,由于学生试图把所给的形状全部利用,导致 表述时困难。课堂技巧方面还需提升,在小组推选发言人之后,学 生可能不太理解接下来的任务,应该引导学生描述,在小组内先练 习。 rectangletriangle square star circle Whats missing? Sing a song Ask Ss to follow the actions, and try to sing along. 2. Lead-in T: Do you like this song? Do you like stars? At night, we can see many stars in the sky. Its also a kind of shape, so today lets learn some more shapes. Step2.Step2. PresentationPresentation 1.New words a.Learn the word: star Show the shape of “star”, ask Ss to read it. Use the question: Whats this?/What shape is it? to ask students. b.Learn the word: square The same procedure for it. Use boys/girls to practice. c.Learn the word: triangle Show the shape to teach it. Use the sandbag to practice this word. Throw the sandbag, who catches it will say the word. d.Learn the word: rectangle Use the “Hide and seek” game to practice it. Choose one pupil to stand in the front, close his/her eyes, then hide the shape card, ask other students to help him/her find the card through their voice. e.Learn the word: circle Practice the word in groups. 2.Play a game: Whats missing? Show four shapes, ask Ss to find which one is missing. 3.Structure T:Weve learned five shapes, they can make many beautiful pictures, lets enjoy one of it. Show a picture to learn the structure: How many.are there? There are. 4.Lisen and say T: Lets have a look at Miss Fangs picture. a.Play the cartoon, ask Ss to listen to the text at the first time. b.Play it again, ask Ss to read along at a low voice. c.At the third time, ask Ss to read it loudly.
