Eye contact is an easy way to make others feel comfortable,important and special.Nervous body language can make others uncomfortable and anxious.Try to be aware of your body language when communicating with others. Respect the opinions of others Not everyone will have the same o

    4、pinion with you , and friendly disagreements can be a gateway to a great conversation.Respect other peoples right to have their own opinion.Respect the opinions of others even if you disagree with them.4. 5. People love talking about themselves , but generally , you want to be careful of taking over

    5、 the conversation.By listening carefully to what others are saying,you are not only making them feel important,but you can gather clues(线 索)you need to keep the conversation going and present new topics.     6、 meeting someone. DMake sure you look nice whenever you meet someone new. EMeeting new people and starting conversations is often challenging.     7、.Your Teen Is Falling Asleep in Class Teens have a busy morning schedule as they need to wake up and get moving very early in order to catch a bus and get to school by the required time.This means teens need to get their rest the night before or they will be too tired to learn anything at school.1.

    8、When a teen falls asleep in class,two things hap-pen:he/she misses what is being taught and he/she loses the respect for the teacher.He/She may also receive a consequence (后果) from the school,depending on the classroom discipline(纪 律)policy.2. To prevent your teen from being sleepy in class,try thes

    9、e three tips: *Set a time for“lights out”on school nights.This should never be any later than 10 pm and preferably 9 pm.3Soft music can be on and used to help calm your teen. *Help your teen develop a nighttime routine that involves activities that slow him/her down for the end of the day.4 Turning

    10、off the computer and disconnecting from friends and the excitement of the day an hour before bedtime will also help your teen relax. *5This will reinforce(增强)what it feels like to be rested and capable of achieving what he/she wants. AWhats worse,they may even fall asleep in class. BTaking a bath an

    11、d reading are two activities that work well. CSet a good example and show him/her your love for learning. DPoint out the positives after your teen has had a good nights rest. E“Lights out” means the computer,television,lights and cell phone should be off. FAll of these things affect your teens acade

GWhile your teen keeps his/her goals in line with your expectations,he/she may have his/her own goals. 3.The importance of first impressions in finance When it comes to the world of finance,first impressions mean everything.First impressions also mean that not everyon

    13、e is treated equally , and people who look and sound the part are received better than people who make a poor first impression.1. Timing It only takes 30 seconds to make a lasting impression,and this is true even when youre not there.This means “Dont be late!”2Being late shows that you dont have res

    14、pect for other peoples time.This is not the impression you want to give your employer,so make sure you are at least 5-10 minutes early. Handshake Your handshake can say a lot about you.3Too tight,youre domineering(盛气凌人的).A warm and firm (坚定而有 力的) handshake is perfectly acceptable. Body Language Your

    15、 body movements are part of both your personality and appearance.Use them wisely.Carry yourself with confidence, like youre very successful,even if youre not.Walking in with purpose and power will give you an air of confidence.4.     19、 work,you should make a list of things that you have to do.After making this list,you should make a schedule of your time.First your time for eating,sleeping,dressing,etc.Then decide a good, regular time for studying.2A weekly schedule may not solve all your problems,but it will force you to realize

    20、 what is happening to your time. Find a good place to study.Look around the house for a good study area.Keep this space,which may be a desk or simply a corner of your room,free of everything but study materials.No games,radios,or television.When you sit down to study,concentrate on the subject. Make

    21、 good use of your time in class.3Listening carefully in class means less work later.Taking notes will help you remember what the teacher says. Study regularly.When you get home from school,go over your notes,preview the important points that your teacher is going to discuss the next day,and read tha

    22、t material.4If you do these things regularly,the material will become more meaningful,and youll remember it longer. Develop a good attitude towards tests.The purpose of a test is to show what you have learned about a subject.They help you remember your new knowledge.The world wont end if you dont pa

    23、ss a test,so dont be over worried. 5You will probably discover many others after you have tried these. A.There are other methods that might help you with your studying. B.Dont forget to set aside enough time for entertainment. C.Take advantage of class time to listen to everything the teacher says.

    39、nvite your friends to your own event and ask them to extend the invitation to the friends that were at their gathering too. Go out,even when you dont feel like it.It turns out that when people invite someone to join them for dinner or a movie or something else,they really want to hang out with you.4

    40、. 5But once you have used the same methods a few times you will know exactly what works and what does not.Dont give up,as everyone is different and it just takes time to get to know people.     44、 so determined to be “right” that he lets an opportunity for happiness pass him by forever.3Remember:as time goes on, we usually forget who was right and who was wrong in a disagreement,and only remember the sadness of losing a friend. Take the first step. Are you sick of fighting? Do you think this

    45、 fight is just not important enough to ruin your friendship?4You dont have to take full responsibility for starting the fight,or even say that your feelings were wrong.But you should find something you did or said thats worth apologizing for.Maybe youre sorry that you let the fight go for so long,or
