Step 2 Presentation & Practice 1. Introduce Peter. T: Look! Here comes Peter. Peter is Wang Bings e-friend. And today well meet four e-friends. First, lets get to know Peter. (1) Listen to an introduction about Peter. Peter is my e-friend. He lives in the UK. Hes 11 years old. He can speak Chinese. He likes Maths and PE. He doesnt have Chinese lessons at school. He studies Chinese after school. We often help each other. He helps me with my English and I help him with his Chinese. He likes playing football. I like playing football, too. We have the same hobby. (2) Ask and answer. (3) Make a mind map. T: Just now, we talked about Peter. Can you make a mind map? How is he? Hes eleven. Thats about age. Can you help me put these words to the correct places. (subject, address, hobby, activity) (4) Introduce your friend. 2. Introduce Wang Fang. (1) 30 seconds non-stop talking. T: Lets meet the next friend Wang Fang. You can ask some questions about Wang Fang in groups of four. You have 30 seconds. (2) Listen and tick. (3) Enlarge the mind map. T: Do you want to know more about Wang Fang? Lets read this passage. Ss listen and read. T: Oh, we can also talk about a friend from these aspects. (looks, language, dream, impression) (4) Play a game: classify the words. 3. Introduce Linda. (1) Read Lindas information card. T: Who is left here? Linda. This is Lindas information card.
