Every twelve years. Which animal was the first of the twelve? Its the rat .Grandma likes the dog best. She is as caring as the dog.”这三组功能句与他人讨论生肖的名称与顺序、十二年一轮回及生肖性格特征 等。除了这些语言的运用,本次实践活动课主要是介绍生肖性格特征及其有关生肖习语和生肖文化 等,所运用的语言主要有“ He/She was born in the year of the.” “ His/Her birth year animal is the .”. “He/She is as as a .”。 我以十二生肖文化为主题,开展了丰富多彩的实践活动。学生通过各种 实践活动,感受生肖文化的博大精深。他们通过参与、探究、合作等方式,不断提高语言表达能力, 进而提高学习能力、思维品质和文化品格。 学生情况:学生情况: (1) 六年级学生思维的灵活性已有明显的提高,抽象思维正逐步发展。学生在原有语言知识 和生活经验的基础上,喜欢具有一定挑战性的活动和任务,所以学生能够积极地参与查找资料、整 理资料、制作 PPT 以及海报等活动。学生对遇到的生词,可以借助电子词典等学会朗读,并和小 组成员一起反复操练,语音、语调逐步达到准确、熟练。 (2) 生肖和学生的实际生活关系很密切,虽然每个人都有自己的生肖,但对生肖的了解仅限 于自己属什么,生肖都有什么。通过本单元三课的学习,学生能够用英文表达十二生肖、能够询问 生肖的顺序、并能简单表达他人的生肖特征。但对于中国有关生肖的传统文化了解并不是很多, 因此在设计主题实践活动时注重文化的传播与渗透,在学习语言知识、增强语言技能的同时,关注 中国传统文化的渗透。 (3) 由于学生的语言表达能力和兴趣爱好不同,所以鼓励学生在小组合作时,分工要具体、 以兴趣为主。每组三名不同层次的学生各一名,通过小组表演,加深对中国生肖文化的理解。通过 小组展示,提高学生参与活动的热情和自信心,体验英语学习的快乐。 (4) 六年级学生能够上网查阅资料,使用信息技术搜集信息、筛选信息;能够独立完成海报 和 PPT 的制作;能够在实践活动中分工、合作,共同完成展示任务。 教学方式与手段:教学方式与手段: 本次实践活动需要三个课时完成,第一课时为布置任务阶段,第二课时为讨论整理阶段。第三 课时是交流展示阶段。在第一课时,教师带领学生复习本单元生肖知识;交流学生已经了解的生肖 4 文化;为学生布置了搜集、整理有关生肖文化信息的资料;确定十二个组的生肖角色,宣布组长及 组员;将相关动物绘本发给各组。第二课时,课上师生一起分享学习,筛选出有意义的文化知识和 语言信息并加以补充;学生通过自主分工、自主探究、小组合作来进行任务内容的分配并确定展示 的形式;教师指导学生的英文表达;学生把搜集的有关生肖的资料在小组内进行整理,课后做成 ppt 和海报。 第三课时,玉皇大帝为了激励十二生肖更好地服务人间,举行了一场“十二生肖我最棒”的比赛 活动。12 个小组分别代表十二生肖,各自充分展示自己,以便取得生肖大赛的胜利。在活动中, 主要传播、弘扬中国文化,通过丰富的展示形式与内容,使学生的语言和个性爱好得到发展。 技术准备:技术准备: (1)教师资源:生肖动物绘本;生肖英文歌曲;PPT 课件(生肖文化) ;教师自制教学卡片及 图片(生肖动物性格特征单词、鸡年图片) ;生肖动物手偶、头饰; (2)学生资源:生肖海报;展示交流的 PPT(生肖故事、名人及家人等的生肖与性格特征、生 肖习语;自制表演道具。 教学目标(内容框架) 1. 学生能够熟练说出生肖名称,能在语境中谈论生肖顺序,说出自己或他人出生在哪一年,生肖 动物是什么,并能理解有关生肖性格特征的词汇,并根据所学主要句型“She/He is as as a .”描 述他人的生肖性格特征。 2学生能够通过上网查阅资料,自主学习了解更多的生肖起源知识、生肖寓意及性格特征,并以 名人及家人为例说明生肖与人的性格有一定的关联,感受中国的生肖文化。 3. 学生能够找出与生肖动物相关的英语习语 2-3 个,并能够通过电子词典、电脑等初步自主学习生 单词的发音,能够进行展示交流。 4. 学生能够在小组活动中通过讨论、交流等方式确定小组展示的形式和内容,分工合作,共同完 成准备工作。 5. 学生能够在模拟情景中完成交流展示的任务,表演有关生肖动物的小故事,介绍生肖动物的特 征以及中国的生肖文化,感受多样的文化传播方式,并通过介绍西方动物习语体会不同文化差异。 教学重点:教学重点: 学生学生能够熟练说出生肖名称;能在语境中谈论生肖顺序;能说出自己或他人出生在哪一年;生 肖动物是什么;能理解有关生肖性格特征的词汇,并根据所学主要句型“She/He is as as a .”描 述他人的生肖性格特征。 5 教学难点:教学难点: 学生在模拟情景中完成交流展示的任务,表演有关生肖动物的小故事,介绍生肖动物的特征以 及中国的生肖文化,感受多样的文化传播方式,并通过介绍西方动物习语体会不同文化差异。 教学过程(文字描述) 一、导入:师生交流,复习所学(一、导入:师生交流,复习所学(1) T: Hello, children!
