Try to have a discussion with your partner. Start with “I remember.”. 2.3a. Read the passage and answer the questions. 1) What kind of writing is this? 2) What is the main subject of this writing? 3) Who do you think the writer is? 3.3b Read the poem again. Teaching Aims: 1.Master all the key words and phrases in the poem. 2.Make sure the students can talk about their past things. 3.Ask the students try to create a poem. 4.After learning the poem, the students can value the school life now and do better in the future. Teaching key and difficult points: 1.Try to appreciate poetry. 2.Try to create easy poems. Teaching procedures: 1.Greeting the class and divide the class into 4 teams. 2.Use pictures to teach some key new words and phrasesgraduate, overcome fear 3.Enjoy some old pictures and ask the Ss to think of the past things. Ss answer the question with I remember. 4.Listen and answer the questions in 3a. Tell the Ss about the stanza and line (诗节、诗行) 5.Read and tell what activities the writer can remember about his or her life in junior high. 6.Discuss: Which is the most unforgettable? 7.Listen and read after the tape. Try to understand the writers feelings. Then try to read the poem with feelings. 8.Show time. Each team reads a stanza. 9.Do with 3b. Read the poem again. Write the words that rhyme with the words below. 10. Read the rhyming words. 11. Activity: You are also a poet. Try to create your own poems. 12. Summary.
