Step 3 Presentation for listening Ask a question: Would you like to learn English well? Step 4 While- listening 1. Give 2 minutes to read listening material quickly. 2. Answer my question:What the pictures are talking about. 3.Listening for the first time. Step 5 After-listening 1.Explain some main phrases and sentence patterns. 2.Give 4 minutes to read passage carefully and do the exercises in pairs. 3.Check the answer: Ask a team students do it one by one. Step 6 practice 1.Summarize the good ways to learn English. 2.Divide students to groups to discuss how to become a better language learner. Then write a complete letter. 3.Make a competition: Invite the leader to read the complete letter. Step 7 Consolidation and summary 1.Emphasis the phrases and sentence patterns. 2.Retell some useful experiences to improve English ability.
