S2: Chinese dress. T: What are they made of ? S3: Its mainly made of silk. . Presentation 1. Show some pictures on

4、the big screen. Try to learn the new words. Learn the new words: chopsticks, coin, fork, blouse, silver, glass, cotton, steel e.g. What are these materials? They are What are these things? They are 2. Ss discuss with their partner and try to learn the new words. Give Ss five more minutes to remember

Work on 1a: Let Ss read the things and materials in 1a. Discuss with their partners and match them with th

Let students make conversations using the given structures in pairs. e.g. What is this called? It is called window. What is it made of? It is made of wood.

7、2. Play a game Show students a bag filled with different kinds of things, and ask different students to pick one from it. Ask them following questions. e.g.What is this? It is a cup. 8、nks to figure out the difference between “be made of” and “be made from”, and learn the usage of “be made in”. （让学生们学习掌握 be made of/from 句型的用法，及 be made of 与 be made from 的区别。 两词组都是“由制成的”之意。) be made of 指从原料到制成品只发生了形状变化，没有发生本质变化（属物理变化） be made from 指从原料到制成品发生了质的变化，已无法复原（属化学变化）。 be made in 指由制造、生产。 .
