To learn how to ask for help politely. Difficult points: how do we use the language in the suitable way. How to ask for help po

    3、litely. Step 3:Teaching tools : Ppt,the video and the flash. Step 4: Teaching ways: Task based teaching ways. Step 5: learning ways: Corporation andgroup work. Step 6:Teaching process: 1. Warming up: Show a video. The video showed us how the students in our class ask for help when they need help. Ma

    4、y be some of them are very polite. So they got the help. But some of them are impolite. So they cant get help. After seeing the video,let the students choose who got help and say why? 2. lead-in : T: in that video, who got help? S: Wang lin and Ren zhixuan . T: Do you know why the two students get h

    5、elp? S: Because they are very polite. T:yes polite way makes us feel comfortable. However, impolite way made us uncomfortable. So when we ask for help, we should use the suitable and polite way. Today we are going to learn unit3 could you tell me where the restrooms are? Section B 2a-2c . 3. Pretent

    6、ion: The first task: let students read the passage quickly and get the main idea. The screen will show three choices. Let the students choose one correct answer. The second task: skim. Let students read the passage again. Choose the topic sentence in each paragraph. The third task : learn the detail

    7、s in each paragraph. For example: when we visit a foreign country, we need help. How do we ask for help? Show a video of a visitor who wants to find the restroom. And after seeing, ask the students to find out how to ask for help. And then look for the sentence in the first paragraph to find the two

    8、 ways to ask for the restrooms. And ask the students to find out the common points and the differences between the two ways. One last thing, to find when we visit a foreign country, how do we ask for help politely. The second paragraph: Find how a good speaker speak to different people. First, enjoy

    9、 a short play. One student play a short play. He wants to know when the school trip is? And he uses the same sentence to speak to different people. So some help him, others dont help him. Ask the students to find out the reasons. Then , ask the students to find out the ways how to speak to different

    10、 people suitably. Then, the whole class find out the two ways to speak to different people and find out why we should speak like this. To teach how to speak to different people. At last, ask this student to ask again using the polite ways. The third paragraph: Learn how we use the suitable ways to a

    11、sk for help when we need help. First , introduce a student to the whole class. The teacher says some problems he has. And ask the students to find out the reasons. After the students knowing the problems, the teacher asks the students to find out how to ask for help more politely. Find out the ways

    12、to ask for help in the third paragraph. And find out the characters of polite ways. The fourth paragraph: The last task: ask the students to find out the reason why we should use the right language in different situation. Ask them to find out the reason in the fourth paragraph. Step 5.Promotion: Sho

    13、w some situations which are common. And ask the students to play how to communicate with othersand how to ask for help in different situations. Let the students to say which ways are more polite. And what ways should we learn. Let the students know some polite ways. Step 6: Explanations The teachers

    14、 explain some important and difficult points. The teacher will show some interesting pictures. The back of the pictures are translations, the uses of phrases ,the uses of new words, the uses of difficult sentences and the big surprise and so on. This will arouse the students interests to know the po

    15、ints. And ask the students to choose which picture they like best.Whatever the students choose which one, the teacher will explain to the students. Step 7: Theme sublimation In our daily life, we often need help from others. We should use the suitable questions to ask for help. Maybe it seem more di

    16、fficult to speak politely than directly. However, it is important to learn how to use the right language in different situations. This will help you communicate with others.
