(3)Warming up Play a guessing game. Whats the meaning of the numbers? Try to guess. They mean the points of the English exam paper. Step 2.(2)Leading- in From the guessing game we know that reading plays the most important role in the exam. So if you want to get good grades in an exam, you must do the reading well. Step 3 (5) Having a discussion. What reading skills and methods do you know so far? Lets have a discussion in your groups. Then say out your ideas. Let the students know they can get the main idea at the beginning of the passage and at the end of the passage. And please dont worry when we meet some new words try to guess the meanings. Step4(10) Showing the reading skills and methods, according to the reading rules, finish the passage A. Then check the group leaders answers and let them check the others answers. Then show the right answers on the screen.
