John: I wouldnt _that remember the same thingto my surprise kissedboth sides mind found out are supposed toeach other Unit10 You are supposed to shake hands 教学设计教学设计 一、教材分析 本教材是人教版初中九年级下学期 Unit10 You are supposed to shake hands.本单元主要学习不同国家的餐桌礼仪,让学生了解不同地域的饮食文化 和风俗习惯,旨在培养学生跨文化交际的功能。在任务型语言教学模式下,采 用主体参与型学习模式,以及小组合作学习、探究学习等,融汇话题、交际功 能和语言结构,形成了一套循序渐进的生活化的学习程序。 二、学情分析 我所教的是九年级的同学,他们即将面临毕业,学习紧张,课程又多,学习 压力也大,各门课程需要协调,合理安排时间尤为重要。同学们的学习状况又 进入了一个相对“稳定”的时期。经过将近三年的初中学习,新授内容基本结 束,而同学们在学习过程中随着克服困难的次数增加,也积累了很多处理问题 的经验,学习兴趣和积极性应当有一个理性的回归,他们正处于由“谷底”缓 缓上升的过程,这时,如果教师能及时引导,学习兴趣和学习积极性将会再达 到一个顶峰。 三、教学目标 1、知识目标 掌握单词:shake hands ,custom, bow, kiss, drop by, after all 正确运用短语:be supposed to, should do sth, 句型: A: What are you supposed to do when you meet someone for the first time? B: We are supposed to shake hands/bow/kiss. 2、能力目标 (1)、学生能在自主学习的环境中探索、合作、交流。 (2)、学生能够通过对话练习、多媒体课件教学,迅速掌握所学内容。 (3)、学生能够掌握一些外国的风俗文化习惯,培养跨文化交际的能力。 3、情感目标 (1)通过小组讨论的活动方式来激发学生的学习积极性和兴趣,使学生在小 组合作学习活动中大胆用英语交流。 (2)关注学生的个性发展,为学生创设宽松、民主、和谐的课堂气氛。 (3)培养学生注重文明礼仪, 遵守班规校纪的良好习惯. 设计理念采用合作学习和小组讨论方式组织教学。在教学活动中,将本单元 各环节自然衔接起来,学生在轻松、愉快的学习氛围中掌握本单元的教学内容。 四、教学重点难点分析 教学重点:要求学生掌握 be supposed to do sth 的句型,小组讨论并进行对 话表演,充分运用动作、表情、手势来体现较真实的语言环境。 教学难点:通过交流表达和听力训练,引入各种学习方法和策略来学习不同国家 的风俗礼仪. 设计理念为了很容易地突破这个难点,可以让学生课下上网查阅有关资料, 然后在上课进行小组讨论,并整合每个小组得到的信息;然后由小组长代表全 组成员表达他们组的信息资料给全班同学。 五、教学方法设计 充分利用多媒体课件上课,采用情景法、游戏法、小组讨论合作法,为学生 创设轻松、真实的语言学习环境。 六、个案设计六、个案设计 Step1. Greetings Step2. Presentation Talk about what people in different countries do when they meet for the first time. Step3. Listening and matching Listen to the tape for what people do when they meet for the first time, then look at the pictures and match the countries with the customs. Check the answers. Step4. Doing pair work Let the students practice in pairs. S1: What are you supposed to do when you meet sb. for the first time? S2: We are supposed to Now tell each other what they know about meeting for the first time. When they make a pair work , theyd better act it out. Step5 . Listening practice Step6 . Free talk Students are divided into four groups , they change their seats with the paper on the desk , they discuss freely then they can make a report or act it out. Step7. Homework: Ask students to surf the Internet , and find out some more different cultures of different countries. 七、 教学效果及反思 在英语教学过程中,我注重最大限度地营造富有情趣、民主平等、和谐默 契的课堂氛围。采用多种方式使学生的思维更加活跃,探索热情更加高涨。轻 松愉快的情感有利于学生在进行认知活动中学会关爱、理解、宽容、分享、激 励、合作,师生就在这些情景中进行着一种情景交融的教学活动。并且在听、 说、读、写实际活动中提高学生的语言表达能力,使学生在主动参与、体验、 交流、合作、探究等多种学习活动中把教材内容活化为生活实际,把学习活化 为交际,让学生在活的课堂中愉快遨游。在本节课的教学过程中,各个环节由 易到难,环环相扣,面向全体学生,争取让每一个学生都能参与到教学活动中 来,得到练习的机会,教学目标圆满完成。这堂课由于基本用全英语授课,导 致基础不是太好的学生在理解上有些困难,从而不能很好的听懂老师的要求, 课堂气氛有时不够活跃,在以后还要强化这方面的训练。
