B:Yes,I sometimes get to class late. 2.2 Have students read the conversation in 1b,and then talk in pairs using their answers in 1a. as the pairs work together ,walk around the classroom offering help if necessary. 2.3 Three pairs act out Step 3 listening (about15minutes) (T:What will happen if you get to school late? S2:The teacher may be angry with me. T:What about peter?lets listen to a conversation between Peter and his father. What things is he talking about with his father?
