Let students answer the questions: 1.what incident was it? 2.When did it happen? 3.How many people died of this incident? Step 2 the passive voice of the simple past tense 1. Show a sentence on the screen ,Ask the students to put the active voice into passive voice. 2. Practice the passive voice of the simple past tense. 3. Summary the passive voice of the simple past tense. Step 3 the passive voice of the simple present tense. 1 Now in China, a lot of cities are suffering from the same problem now. Show some pictures. Discussion: What problems are caused by the smog? 2 Practice the passive voice of the simple present tense. 3 Summary the passive voice of the simple present tense. Step 4 the passive voice of the present perfect tense 1. In the past few years, Chinese government has taken many actions to govern the smog. Show some pictures on the screen. 2. Ask: What has been done by the Chinese government? Help the students answer the questions by using the passive voice of the present perfect tense. 3. Practice the passive voice of the present perfect tense by asking and answer. 4. Summary the passive voice of the present perfect tense. Step5 the passive voice of the simple future tense. 1 In the future , what will people do to protect our environment ? 2 Practice the passive voice of the simple future tense. 3 Summary the passive voice of the simple future tense.
