Do you remember the story The Shirt of a Happy Man Part 1? Yes,we do. 2. Lets retell the story according to the pic

    2、tures.(Show some pictures on the screen.) Once upon a time .there lived an unhappy king ! 3. The story is not finished. Can you guess some possible endings ? Ask some students to guess the ending to the story. Step 2. Do activity 1a. Look at the possible endings to the story about the unhappy king.

    3、Do you think any of these is the right one? If so, which one? a. The general cannot find a happy person and the king remains unhappy forever. b. The general finds a happy person with power, money and fame. c. The general realizes he is a happy person and gives his shirt to the king to wear. d. The k

Listen to The Shirt of a Happy Man(Part II) and check () the things that happened in the rest of the story. When listening, pay attention to reading the sentence carefully. The g

    11、 work. Ask the students work in pairs to role-play the story and ask some pairs to present in front of the class. Step 5. Disscussion. Discuss the following questions with your group. (1)Do you agree with the poor mans thoughts about happiness? (2)What do you think is the true meaning of happiness? After discussing, ask each group to share their ideas, Step 6. Summay. Contentment is the key to happiness. 教学 反思 本堂课通过复述故事(第一部分)引入,激发学生兴趣,并且对接下来的教学活动做好铺 垫。教学过程中,设计了一些学生活动让学生积极参与,提高学生的听说读写能力。但有 部分学生缺少主动发言的热情,以后在教学中应该注意尽量让学生全面参与。
