Analysis of the students: Our students are in Grade4. They are active and curious, interested in new things. They like learning English in di

3、fferent activities. After learning English for one year, they grasp the basic pronunciation of 26 letters and the pronunciation rules of “a”, “e”, “i”,“o”,“u” in the words. After learning the first three units in grade4, students grasp the pronunciation rules of “a-e”, “i-e”,“o-e”. So it is not diff

4、icult for them to learn this lesson. Teaching objectives: 1. Ss will be able to listen, say, read and write the words, “cute”, “use” and “excuse” while experiencing the pronunciation of “u-e”. 2. Ss can use the rule of spelling of “u-e”to spell other simple words. And Ss will have a good understandi

5、ng the differences of pronunciation between u and u-e. 3. Ss can develop their interest in learning English and self-confidence through the discovery of learning methods. Do homework after class. 通过作业的布置， 学生 对所学的知识进行巩固。 VIII Blackboard Design: IX Teaching reflection 本节课是一堂语音课，课的开始通过打地鼠游戏复习前面所学的语音知识， 进而引出本课的主要内容u-e的发音。接着通过About me 既拉近与学生之间的 距离，同时也学习了cute，use，excuse的发音。在操练部分我将原本枯燥的练 习设置成闯关游戏，层层递进，由易到难。学生积极参与到各项活动中，课堂 气氛活跃，学生成为了课堂的小主人，教学效果还是比较好的。
