By studying this lesson, students are able to read words that conform to the pronunciation rules of “u- e” and they can spell words that match pronunciation rules of “u-e”. Students can read and write the words when they see and listen to them. It is an improvement of English ability. Analysis of the students: Our students are in Grade4. They are active and curious, interested in new things. They like learning English in different activities. After learning English for one year, they grasp the basic pronunciation of 26 letters and the pronunciation rules of “a”, “e”, “i”,“o”,“u” in the words. After learning the first three units in grade4, students grasp the pronunciation rules of “a-e”, “i-e”,“o-e”. So it is not difficult for them to learn this lesson. Teaching objectives: 1. Ss will be able to listen, say, read and write the words, “cute”, “use” and “excuse” while experiencing the pronunciation of “u-e”. 2.
