Ability objectives: Enable the students to use these new words and sentences in the dialogue. C. Emotional objectives: Help the Ss strengthen awareness of dream jobs. Foster the confidence and enthusiasm of learning. III.Teaching focus points and difficulties: A. Enable the students to grasp the main words. 2 B. Enable the students to use these new sentences in the situation. IV.Teaching aids: Whiteboard, tape and recorder, stickers, boy & girl stickers V.Teaching procedures: Step1: Warming-up A. Greet T: Good morning, boys and girls. How are you? Today we will go on Unit5 What does he do? B. Review the talk in PartB sing a song “What do you want to do?”. T: Now lets sing a song. Sing following it. OK? Ss: OK. T: So great! Wonderful! Purpose: Review the knowledge we have learnt before and prepare for the new knowledge. C. Leading in 1. Review the different jobs. (Present many kind of jobs. Show some pics: teacher, doctor, 3 factory worker, postman, businessman, police officer, nurse. ) T: Look, who are they? What does he/she do ? Ss: He/She is a/an _. T: What do you want to do? . Ss: I want to (Lead the Ss to say the words). T: All of these words can answer a question. And today we will also learn this unit.
