Show students the following sentences and get them to discuss the rules among them: What can you find among them? I am going to see a film tomorrow evening. I am going to buy a book tonight. I am going to play sports this weekend. Im going to have a picnic next week. Im going to see a film next Monday evening. After that, get students to share their opinions in class, then help them to summarize: A B C 2. Show students some word cards and get several students to choose first, then ask them to form a full sentence, using the words in their hands. And then, a sentence appears on the blackboard: What are you going to do?Get students to read and repeat it. 3. Repeat this sentence again and again, then ask students: What are you going to do?Get them to answer using the sentences above. Step 3 Presentation Teach “visit my grandparents, see a film, take a trip, go to the supermarket”. Show students some pictures and present the new vocabulary step by step from words to phrases then to sentences. While teaching the key words and phrases, give students more chances to practice the key sentence patterns: What are you going to do this evening / tomorrow / tonight/ ?I am going to (引导学生回答, 板书短语,指名读,带读短语,拼读短语,理解短语。 ) Eg: my grandparents- visit my grandparents What are you going to do this evening / tomorrow / ? Get students to look at the flash , quickly stand up and speak out what they saw. In this way, get students to know more phrasal verbs they learnt before. 3. Ask and answer! Students work in Pairs and groups first, then act out their conversations in class. Make sure that students can practice their conversations using different future time and different daily activities. The teacher can give students some help if necessary. Eg: A: What are you going to do this evening / tomorrow / ? B: I am going to visit my grandparents. How about you? C: I am going to the cinema. 4. Make a plan. Its Saturday morning now.
