The dialogue is about Sam and his mum buying birthday cake. This class is organized around Sams birthday party. The main structures are “-How many?” -“Five.” . Analysis of the students The students in grade 3 have learned numbers before. They can simply count from one to ten. In this lesson, they will be able to read the sentences and use the structure “How many?”to ask for numbers. . Teaching aims 1. Knowledge aims 1) Be able to understand the meaning and read the dialogue by listening and repeating. 2) Be able to ask and answer “How many?” by reading the dialogue and practicing in pairs and groups. 3) Be able to read and recognize the numbers from one to five after practice. 2. Ability aim 2 Be able to ask and answer “How many?” 3. Moral aim 1.Enhance students interests in English. 2.Choose the suitable birthday gifts for different people. .
