Keep moving Analysis of the teaching methods The new National English Curriculum says that during the foun dation education period, the total goal for English lesson is to mu ltiple utilize all the language to communicate, developing the stud ents self-study ability. And according to the pupils physical and psychological characteristics. I adopt th e Task-based Language Approach. Finishing the task from Goals-In put to Activities. I give them an open and relaxed circumstance in which they can imitate and innovate. In this way, I believe the st udents ability of using language will developed very well. Analysis of the students: The Ss are weak by studying English in the NO. 3 Primary School. They are the first time to contact with English. They are keeping curious, active and imitating and showing themselves actively. But their attention span was short. So the most important thing is concentrating their attention and make them happy in class. We should not only focus on the language, but also set up the real circumstance where I can encourage them to express the mselves bravely. I will try my best to arouse them interests a nd enhance the enthusiasm. Teaching aims (T=teacher Ss=students S=student) Knowledge aims: 1、Can listen, say, read and write the words: jump, walk, run, swim 2、Can ask and answer the sentences“What can you do? I can .”correctly. Abilities aims: 1、Develop Ss abilities of listening and speaking; 2、Train the sense of cooperation, communication and innovation. Aims on the emotion attitude, cultural understanding and learning strategies Promote Ss the interesting of learning English Key points and Difficulties: 1、Using “What can you do? I can. .”correctly in daily life; 2、The pronunciation of “walk”. I prepare the mufti-media and flash cards for the class. T divides Ss into four groups: Group A、B、C、D Which group is better, T will give them stickers. Teaching Procedures Step 1: Greeting and Warm-up T: Good morning, boys and girls. Look at this picture, Hello, Im Viki. Now listen. I am Viki. You can call me Viki. Who is Viki? I am Viki. I say Viki, you say “Hi” Viki, Hi Viki, Hi, Viki, Viki, Viki Hi, hi, hi (Action: 1、2、3 4、4、4) T: Wow, everybody, you did a good job.Today we are going to attend the sports meeting. Before going, let do a warm-up. Activity: Clap your hands、Stamp your feet Jump, jump 、Shake your body (*All the Ss can enjoy the class and this game can arouse their interests.) (Action: Attention! 1、2) Step 2: Introduction T: I can jump, what can you do? (Show the PPT-jump) Ss: I can jump. ( T guides Ss to say I can jump. ) Step 3: Presentation Learn the word-jump T uses the flash card to teach the word, Let Ss say I can jump one by one. Game: Who is the highest one? T shows the card “jump” and ask “What can you do?” Ss say the sentence with the action, Jump the highest one can get one sticker. Game: Pair work Ss make a dialogue with partners. What can you do? I can. (*Can treat Sss cooperation and reaction) Learn the word -run After Ss can ask and answer the sentence correctly and masterly, T shows them the picture run. T: Run. Let Ss do actions. (Three times) T does actions, Ss read the word several times. Use the same way to learn “swim” Teach the key sentences “What can you do? I can. .” and walk T hides the card and act the action-walk, T guides Ss to ask “What can you do?” Then T says: “ I can walk.” Ss repeat. Game: Flap the card Ss flap the card while T says the words jump and walk. He can get one sticker. Game: I say, you do T says the four words, Ss do the actions and repeat. Game: Which one is missing? T shows them the cards, Ss guess which word missing is. Step 4: Consolidation 1、Pair work Two Ss make a dialogue according to the pictures, then finish the blanks. For example: Sa: What can you do? Sb: I can jump. 2、Lets write(2mins) jump walk run swim Show them PPT, let Ss guess what can Viki do? Let Ss know do more exercises and keep healthy.
